Join the Gay Community Endowment Fund and honorary chair Ilene Shapiro, Summit County Executive, as we celebrate the fund's impact in the community and invest in the next generation of LGBTQ+ students and allies.
The event will showcase the fund's most recent grant recipients and feature a performance by the North Coast Men’s Chorus Coastliners and a scene from "The Laramie Project" by grant recipient Millennial Theatre Project. In addition, the fund will present Rosemary Reymann with the 2019 Paul Daum Award, which honors individuals who have demonstrated a significant commitment to LGBTQ+ causes and the Greater Akron community at large.
Proceeds support the GCEF Scholarship Fund, which awards academic scholarships to LGBTQ+ and allied students in Greater Akron.
